The nice people at HM Treasury who produce the Public Expenditure Statistical Analyses annual publication have asked for some feedback. They will have access to this site, so if you have any comments, questions or suggestions about PESA simply leave them here and they’ll be checking to see what you have said. Thanks in anticipation…

Just wanted to leave a quick comment regarding my experience of using PESA. On the one hand I found the quality and quantity of information very high, furthermore because table could be downloaded it was easy to insert the data into excel and analyse it to fit in line with my essays. However it was somewhat annoying that the 2009 PESA only went back about 4 or 5 years when I wanted to use data over the last 15 to 20 years. Consequently I had to use the 2006 PESA and 2001 PESA which meant a lot more work. Especially when bringing the data together on excel. In future it would be much more helpful if PESA data went back much further.
Just my thoughts, maybe it would make the PESA have just too much information.
Cheers
